The first Russian scaler on a domestic chip is presented at the CIPR 2025 exhibition

Russian specialists have reached a new level of localization of Russian electronic devices: the Beshtau group of companies presented the first domestic scaler built on a Russian chip at the IT solutions exhibition CIPR-2025 in Nizhny Novgorod.

Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Vasily Shpak personally familiarized himself with the new product. He emphasized the importance of this development for the further development of domestic industry and reduction of dependence on foreign suppliers. Vasily Shpak also noted that such an initiative significantly increases the competitiveness of Russian goods in the global arena and contributes to the growth of the country’s technological independence.

The main feature of the device is the full cycle of internal production: design, testing and release of the finished product are carried out exclusively by Russian enterprises. The device has high quality signal processing, supporting modern resolution formats up to 2K and providing a refresh rate of 75 Hz. Connection interfaces provide flexibility in connecting various image sources.

This technology is a key link in the chain of successful implementation of import substitution policy, since previously such components had to be purchased abroad. Today, Russian developers offer a full replacement for Western analogues, demonstrating complete autonomy in the most important market segment.

This success serves as a clear example of the potential of Russian engineering schools and shows how important it is to support projects aimed at developing high technologies within the country. Thus, the presented development opens the way to new opportunities for growth and sustainable development of Russian radio electronics.
